Is Deformity free, or just a trial?
Deformity Free has no trial deadline: it includes unlimited forms and static responses, subject to fair use. The 100 free AI respondent conversations are a separate total allowance, not a monthly reset. Pro starts at $29/month on monthly billing and adds branding removal, custom domains, team seats and a larger AI allowance.
Does Typeform also have AI?
Yes. Typeform’s pricing lists AI-powered creation and other plan-specific AI features. Deformity combines AI editing with optional live respondent conversations. Choose based on the actual workflow and allowance you need, rather than treating AI as a single checkbox.
Can I import a Typeform instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. Use Deformity’s free Typeform converter with a public form URL. It imports supported fields, branching and theme into real static or AI previews. Save an unpublished copy after signup; existing response history and connected accounts are separate.
Can I keep a one-question-at-a-time form?
Yes. Deformity supports a guided question flow, with control over fonts, imagery, colors and layout. The imported theme is adapted to Deformity rather than duplicating every Typeform layout detail.
Can I build quizzes or use calculations?
Deformity supports conditional logic and variables, including supported calculation expressions. Configure scoring and test known outcomes when you need consistent grading. Both products have logic; that is not a Deformity-only feature.
What does payment collection cost?
Deformity Free supports Stripe payments with a 10% platform fee plus Stripe processing fees. Pro removes Deformity’s platform fee; Stripe processing fees still apply. Choose the plan based on your expected payment volume as well as the form features you need.
