How much cheaper is Deformity than Formless?
At 250 AI conversations per month, Deformity Pro is $29 and Formless Pro is $59, both billed monthly. That saves $30/month, or $360 over 12 months—about 51%. At 2,000 conversations, the monthly prices are $200 and $330, saving $130/month. The comparison uses the same published allowances, not annual discounts against monthly prices.
Is Deformity’s $25 price monthly or annual?
The pricing page displays a rounded $25/month equivalent when you choose yearly billing: the entry plan is billed $299 upfront per year. Monthly billing is $29/month. The comparison above uses monthly billing for both products.
What can I do for free?
Deformity Free includes unlimited forms, unlimited static responses, 100 AI-powered responses, branching, integrations, API/MCP access and files up to 10 MB. Formless’s FAQ says new accounts receive 25 AI conversations. Those are published allowances, not a promise of identical reset or counting rules. Payment collection on Deformity Free has a 10% platform fee, plus payment-processing fees.
How does Formless count a conversation?
Formless counts completed and partial conversations against its allowance. Its help docs distinguish these from previews and abandoned sessions with no answers, which do not count. Continuing the same conversation is not counted twice. Deformity tracks AI usage separately from unlimited static responses; when the AI allowance is exhausted, forms can continue collecting static answers.
Does Formless support uploads, branding and integrations?
Yes. Its expanded pricing page lists file uploads, custom visuals, colors and typography, partial conversations, embeds, hidden values and Zapier. Pro includes logo replacement and three team seats. Deformity also offers these capabilities, so we do not present them as exclusive advantages.
Can I use my own OpenAI API key?
Both products support this. Formless documents it for Free and Pro; Deformity requires Pro or Enterprise, and it is not available with Instant Responses. Standard subscription pricing does not disappear when you bring a key. OpenAI usage is billed separately to your own account; Deformity’s plan limits still apply.
What transfers when I import my Formless link?
The converter brings across conversation requirements, supported choices and media, welcome and ending text, and the available theme. Business context and tone are kept for AI mode. You can try a real static or AI Deformity form before signing up. Private training sources, response history and connected accounts do not transfer; review conditional instructions, integrations and AI wording before publishing.
