Meta Pixel
Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) helps you measure ad performance and build custom audiences. Adding your Pixel ID to Deformity will automatically fire events when someone views or submits your form.
How to Set Up Meta Pixel
- Create a Pixel in the Meta Events Manager if you don't already have one.
- Copy the Pixel ID from the dashboard.
- Open your form in Deformity and go to Settings > Integrations.
- Enter the Pixel ID in the Meta Pixel field. Saving happens automatically.
After setup, Meta Pixel will record page views and form completions for your advertising reports.
Which events are sent?
Deformity automatically sends a few standard and custom events so you can measure form engagement without writing extra code. Events are available for both AI-powered and classic (non-AI) forms unless noted otherwise.
- PageView — Fired as soon as the form loads to keep your Meta audiences in sync.
- FormStarted (custom event) — Triggered the moment a visitor begins the form. We include the form's URL and deformityIdso you can build precise audiences for either AI or classic forms.
- Response (custom event, AI forms only) — Sent after every answer in an AI conversation. Meta receives the question, the visitor's reply, the form URL, and the deformityIdfor deeper funnel reporting.
- Lead — Emitted on form completion for all form types. We attach the deformityId, current URL, and aformTypeparameter whose value isaifor AI forms andstaticfor non-AI forms. When available, we also include the conversation ID to aid in deduplication.
